Following on from the successful 1st Health and Safety performance in high hazard industries workshop in Nigeria in July, the project team led by Akilu Yunusa-Kaltungo is holding a 2nd workshop at The University of Manchester on 5 September 2019.
Representatives include colleagues from The University of Manchester, Health and Safety Executive, the Nigerian Government office and from two leading cement companies in Nigeria, who will attend to discuss health and safety data in Nigeria and the UK and share good practice.
The overarching aim of this workshop is to provide a platform that enables engagement and constructive discussions amongst key stakeholders.
